Proliant Meat Ingredients, a manufacturer of broths, flavorings and functional proteins was faced with the challenge of substantially expanding an operating facility without impacting production.
The EAD family of companies was contracted to provide a turnkey solution. The scope included a building addition, site pavement reconstruction, new production lines of equipment, sanitary piping systems, process automation, clean-in-place systems, electrical power distribution and tie-in to existing utilities.
Our team worked closely with the client to understand not only how they make their product, but also to understand the commercial and operational challenges they faced daily.
The completed project resulted in a facility that exceeded the requirements of Proliant’s food safety plan while more than doubling the production rate of the existing process.
