EAD was involved in the 2014 Canstruction Event, Bringing Hunger Awareness to the Heartland One Can at a Time. Canstruction is a national charity that is committed to end hunger across North America, Australia, South America, Europe, and Asia. During this event businesses use unique, inspiring, and competitive sculptures built from canned foods. Once the sculptures are build they are then put on display to the public for judging and hunger awareness at Oak View Mall.
EAD received “2014 Best Use of Labels” and “2014 People’s Choice” awards. For the sculpture EAD used over 20,000 cans for the sculpture to then be collected for the local food bank.
