Core Values
Each quarter, EAD recognizes three employees for living our core values. Employees chosen for EAD’s Quarterly Trooper Award have demonstrated our values in one of three categories: Customer Service, Internal Customer Service, or Process Improvement. This quarter we recognized Jade Peng, Electrical Engineer, for her service to one of our clients. Jade embodied our core value with her willingness to step up by filling two full-time roles at our client’s facility.
Jade took charge of onsite responsibilities at the client’s request after an onsite employee resigned. She took on a role outside of her expertise. Jade’s commitment to the company and the client is an example of the EAD culture. The fact that our client knew who they wanted reinforces Jade’s recognition as an exemplary team member.
Another essential aspect of Jade’s recognition is her mentorship of a new engineer. While the work at our client facility is not Jade’s area of expertise, she expanded her engineering expertise to include process and mechanical engineering. By taking on mentoring responsibilities, Jade allowed herself and another engineer to grow.
With team members like Jade fostering our culture, we will continue to have clients requesting EAD staff members by name. Additionally, as EAD continues to develop our internship program, others will have opportunities to help their team members grow.
